Shit Pits, or Pitbog

Not a lot more to be said really. Earth closet long drops sound a bit more scary, but in practice not so. A wooden, painted sentry box, usually with 2 or 3 cubicles, with a toilet seat and hole below. The obvious warnings:

• Don't let kids play around them!!!
• Wash your hands afterwards
• Mind your aim
• Don't use the hedges
